Community Power Station
One of Wardhall Ltd's key objectives is to develop a community owned and operated power generating facility. Renewable energy can be produced from anaerobic digestion of waste materials, wind energy and gasification of wood waste and other biomass. It can also provide effective local waste management solutions.
In doing this, it will actively engage the community in ownership and management of a project to provide economic and environmental benefits and offers sustainable solutions for bio-waste producers.
Communities will benefit directly from greener (and possibly cheaper) electricity as well as greater continuity of supply. Indirect benefits include the enhancement of local rural transport provision, affordable housing and employment opportunities.
The company’s business plan can be supplied by arrangement.
